Troy Bermel, landscape designer
Troy Bermel of Minneapolis has a natural talent for visualizing eye-catching outdoor settings. As a landscape designer for RAM, he is able to bring those visions to life for customers throughout the Twin Cities and the west metro area.
Troy’s passion for landscaping goes back three generations, to his relatives who were groundskeepers and did topiary work for the castle in England. His own experience began with landscape-related courses in high school, followed by specialized landscape design training from the University of Minnesota.
Since 1989, Troy has been helping clients with specialized residential projects of all sizes and styles. For him, the most rewarding aspect of the job is creating something people can enjoy for decades to come.
Troy’s son is also interested in landscaping, and is working toward a degree in biotechnology.
In his spare time, Troy loves to spend time outdoors, and is a self-proclaimed “fly-fishing fanatic.”
